Take “performance-enhancing” tablets: To ensure he performed well, his friend advised him to take some pills.

The problem was that neither Shobhit nor his friend knew the specific names or effects of the tablets. When Shobhit expressed this confusion, his friend simply told him to figure it out himself.

Shobhit then procured the tablets and the protection. On the evening of December 13, around 8:30 PM, he went to his girlfriend’s house. The couple spent the night together and were intimate. The tablets, however, had a powerful effect, and their intimate encounter lasted for several hours.

The girl had been naked from the time he arrived (around 8:30 PM) until the early hours of the morning. This was during the peak of winter in December, and the cold was biting. At one point, the girl began to feel the effects of the freezing temperatures. Shobhit, in an attempt to help, lit a fire (a “chulha” or stove) and sat her near it to warm her up.

Despite this, the combination of the physical exertion, the unknown drugs, and the prolonged exposure to the cold proved to be fatal. The girl’s health began to deteriorate rapidly. By around 3:30 AM on December 14, she was in a critical state. Frightened and panicking, Shobhit abandoned her. He fled the house, leaving the girl alone, naked, and freezing.

When the family arrived at 6:30 AM, they found her. Her body had completely stiffened from the cold and the tragic events of the night. Her life had already ended around the time Shobhit fled.

This tragic incident serves as a grim reminder of the dangers of inexperience, the influence of bad advice, and the risks associated with uninformed decisions regarding sexual health.
